Festival in the Park, the largest free community event in Enterprise, returns to Johnny Henderson Park on Saturday, May 3 from 3 to 8 p.m.
“Now in our 26th year, we continue to pour into this signature event to make it even bigger and better because it’s a way to thank our citizens and community for their support of Enterprise Parks and Recreation,” said Blake Moore, Director of Community Services and Recreation.
“We are still looking for activity vendors to participate! If your business or organization wants to offer a family-friendly game or craft, we encourage you to reach out. This is a great way to support the community and EPRD, as well as showcase your business all at the same time!”
More than 10,000 people attended last year’s Festival which included pony rides, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, inflatables, face painting and train rides. In addition to the activities, live music by 'Heyword' will start at 5 p.m. at the stage near the pond.
“Bring your blanket and lawn chairs, grab a bite to eat from one of the many food vendors on site, and enjoy the live music. Once the sun goes down, we’ll end the event with our annual fireworks show.”
